Aaron Freeman

Aaron Freeman is a native of Southeast Texas.  He graduated from Monsignor Kelly High School in Beaumont, TX.  Aaron attended Stephen F. Austin State University and Lamar University, where he majored in business and was on the Dean’s List.  Aaron was the Honor Graduate of his United States Marine Corps recruiting class, and was meritoriously promoted twice.  Aaron was also the recipient of the Leatherneck Award.

Aaron was honorably discharged from the Marines in 2000 due to injury.  In 2004, he began his career in financial services with Oak River Financial Group, Inc.  He is an Investment Advisor Representative (series 65) and a licensed agent with the State of Texas Department of Insurance. In 2011, Aaron purchased Oak River Financial Group from his father, Gary. 

Aaron strongly believes in Continuing Education.  He holds the highly coveted Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation, as well as Certified Annuity Specialist (CAS), Certified Income Specialist (CIS), and Board Certification in Estate Planning (BCE).  Aaron is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). He was NAIFA’s  2010 “Rising Star” Award recipient.  Aaron is a member of Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). In 2012, he was granted membership into the exclusive court of the table for MDRT. Less than 1% of financial professionals have obtained this.

Aaron was married to his loving wife, Debbie, in May 2009.  Aaron and Debbie are the very proud parents of their son, Carter. Aaron is an avid outdoorsman.  He has entries into both Safari Club International (SCI) and The Pope and Young Club (P&Y) record books.  Aaron also enjoys playing golf with his dad. When he is not working, Aaron enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf with his dad, and hunting on a ranch in South Texas.
